About Orbit Daily

A small, independent reading desk

Orbit Daily is an independent space-news publication and editorial prototype. We turn a day’s reporting, research releases and mission updates into concise original briefings so readers can understand what changed without mistaking a summary for the source.

We cover astronomy, Earth observation, heliophysics, human spaceflight, launch systems and the public consequences of activity in orbit. We aim for calm explanation over hype, and we show the reporting trail behind every article.

What we publish

Each article is a synthesis: a writer reads the cited material, checks the central claims where practical, and writes new copy in Orbit Daily’s own words. We do not republish publisher articles or copy their images. When a detail is scheduled, disputed, estimated or provisional, the article says so.

Named source organisations in article metadata identify the lead source, not the author of the Orbit Daily article. See the Masthead for roles and the reporting method for the full workflow.
